Our Pastor

Pastor Jamond Jimmerson was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. He received the call to ministry at the tender age of (19) and was determined to follow Christ for the rest of his life. He attended Forest Park St. Louis Community College and then transferred his credits to Oakwood University where he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Church Leadership in 2012.

After obtaining his BS degree, he served as an assistant Pastor at the St. Louis Berean SDA Church for several months under the tutelage of Pastor Joseph T. Ikner. In August of 2013, Pastor Jimmerson enrolled to the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary: Andrews University. He went on to complete the Masters of Divinity program in December 2015 and then accepted the call to work in the Central States Conference of Seventh-day Adventist.

Since then, he has served two wonderful congregations – “New Community & Boston Street SDA Church located in Denver, Colorado. He was instrumental in the churches attendance increase, tithe increase, conflict resolution, strategic planning, church renovation and more.

Pastor Jimmerson also served as a Hospice Chaplain were he ministered to individuals and their families during the final stages of life. He possesses both business & people skills that God has been able to utilize to further the kingdom.

Pastor Jimmerson has been married to the love of his life “Twainika Jimmerson” for 9 beautiful years now. Together, they have two sons – “Levi” who is (3 years old) going on (30) and Judah who is (1 years old) who believes the world revolves around him. Although his children keep him on his toes and his wife keeps him on his feet, it is God who keeps him grounded; reminding him of the importance of family. Family is one of Pastor Jimmerson’s core values and he does his best to demonstrate that in his life daily.

Pastor Jimmerson enjoys reading, teaching, traveling and playing basketball. He is soon to be the “PROUD” Pastor of the North Philadelphia Seventh-day Adventist Church. He is passionate about people and desires to see them grow in the amazing grace of God. His favorite scripture which brings him joy and keeps Him dedicated is found in 2 Corinthians 5:21 – “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
